Please contact us immediately. It is your responsibility as a member to contact us if you cannot login as a member. In many cases, the member ID or password is misspelled or incorrectly entered. We will assist you immediately.
- I thought all of properties listed accepted your credit reports
Keep in mind that we are committed to informing you of all available rental listings even if
they will not accept our credit report. A small percentage of our listings are thru property
management companies, large apartment complexes, and other real estate agents that
require the use of their own credit reporting agency.
- Go for a drive!
It’s a great idea to check out different neighborhoods around San Diego for compatibility. Besides
discovering new areas, you might find that an area of town you thought you’d never want to live in is just perfect! We do suggest that you drive by the listings you receive FIRST. If you like what you see call the contact number immediately! If you get a voice mail make sure to leave a message letting the landlord know that you have seen the property and are interested in renting and you would like to meet with them to view the inside. Don’t forget to leave your phone number and name. You should also call us and let us know that you are interested in renting the property so we can immediately fax them your information giving you a head start. Remember many properties rent quickly!
- Be flexible – there is a difference between needs and wants.
Try to keep yourself “open”. You may have to compromise. Can you live without that fireplace? Can you get more for your money in a neighboring community? Instead of limiting yourself to the small percentage of rentals with hardwood floors (as an example), you may surprise yourself at what you can adapt to and still be happy.
- First impressions
Dress appropriately. Remember while you are checking out the property the landlords are checking out you as well. Their first impression of you is just as important to them.
- How often are the listings updated?
Every day, we communicate with our owners, and we Update or Delete or Add their listings. Our database is never 100% available; since rentals are turning over all the time. However, statistically over the past years our list has been approximately 85% available. Furthermore, we receive more than 100 new listings every day. If you use our service diligently, you will have great success.
- Search our website.
Rental listings move fast. We update our database in real time so check often by logging into our website with your user name and password written below. Remember the availability of properties change frequently. You can also give us a call and we will be glad to fax or email you a list of the latest properties.
